Bridging the Digital Divide
Despite
remarkable technological advances in some quarters and the resultant
wealth and other opportunities this affords, the gap between the
Internet haves and have-nots tends to be more of a chasm than a
mere gap. More than 80% of people in the world have never ever heard
a dial tone, surfed the Web, let alone received computer training.
FCF's mission partners are working in developing countries to change
that.
